For Italian rap duo Co’sang, our team worked on the show design at Naples’ historic Piazza del Plebiscito. The dramatic setting, with the grand portico of the Basilica di San Francesco di Paola as a backdrop, was bathed in intense, blood-red lighting, a direct nod to the group’s name, symbolizing their Neapolitan roots and the raw energy of their music. This “sang” red light cast a powerful aura over the 22,000-strong crowd, creating an atmosphere that was both bold and intimate.
Our set and lighting design took full advantage of the architectural drama offered by the venue. Pyrotechnics launched from the basilica’s portico added a thrilling visual layer, illuminating the historic square with bursts of fire matching the intensity of Co’sang’s beats and verses. Even as rain poured down during the show, the energy remained electric.
