For Milan Fashion Week, Sportmax embarked on a daring exploration of contrasts, choosing the esteemed Triennale di Milano as the canvas for this ambitious narrative. Our studio, in collaboration with Random Productions, was entrusted with the lighting design, challenged to encapsulate the essence of a show suspended between light and darkness, reality and dream.
The Triennale di Milano, an architectural jewel in the heart of Milan, provided the perfect stage for Sportmax's exploration of contrasts. The space itself, known for its dedication to design and art, complemented the thematic underpinnings of the show. Our task was to amplify this dialogue between the venue's iconic status and the innovative spirit of Sportmax, crafting an atmosphere that would captivate and intrigue.
Central to our lighting design was the strategic use of red lights, creating an atmosphere that oscillated between the realms of reality and fantasy.
Our approach sought to balance the inherent contrasts of the venue and the collection itself.
